Shock indicators

Shock indicators are a simple yet effective way to monitor sensitive goods during transport. They activate reliably when a package or pallet is exposed to a defined impact – such as drops, forklift collisions or improper handling. This gives a clear warning of possible damage, even when the packaging appears intact. A valuable quality control tool for many industries – from electronics to precision engineering.

Versions

Available in various sensitivity levels, indicated in g-forces (10–100 g/ms). Each type features a clearly visible colour window that irreversibly changes once the threshold is exceeded, preventing tampering. The indicators are self-adhesive and can be applied directly to the packaging or product. A warning label can be added to alert third parties of the monitoring.

Material
